Someone's Hero Consulting was founded by Alisa Taylor, a Master Level graduate in Exceptional Child Education with a Graduate Certificate in Autism. Ms.Taylor has also completed training with the Apple Group as a Dyslexia Specialist and has over 14 years of experience in early and special education. Under Ms. Taylor's leadership, SHC has become a trusted provider of educational consulting services, specializing in autism, dyslexia, and other exceptional child needs.
Our Services
ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionaire)
Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ): We use the ASQ as a developmental screening tool to assess children's social-emotional, communication, and motor skills. This tool helps in identifying developmental delays and determining the need for further evaluation and intervention services.
Social Skills Training
Someone's Hero Consulting provides specialized social skill training programs for individuals with disabilities, including those with ASD. These programs focus on improving social communication, interaction, and relationship-building skills to enhance overall social functioning.
Special Educational Support and Consultation
Host regular team meetings and consultations with clients, families, school staff, and community providers. - Discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for supporting the client's needs effectively.
Arkansas Autism Waiver Provider
The Autism Waiver is a Medicaid program that provides one-on-one, intensive early intervention treatment to eligible children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Waiver services take place in the child’s home or a parent-approved, community-based location.
